| Joshua Lopez is a 20 year old blues musician, who performs both as a frontman in a band (JLATTE) as well as in a solo capacity. He has been giggin at spots around toronto for a couple of years now. He is backed by a four piece band that includes his father, Emmanuel Lopez, who is a seasoned musician with many years of experience under his belt. He is backed also by his uncle, Zachary Bandolin, am accomplished guitarist with international credentials, who has worked as a professional musician for 20 years. On drums is friend of Joshua, Binh Ngyuen, with whom he went to highschool and was a bandmate of Joshua's in his very first band many years ago. | |||||||

is a mystical and beautiful place which symbolizes paradise filled with
happiness. The myth originated from the novel "Lost Horizon" by
James Hilton in 1933, in a story of a place isolated from the outside world.

| Joyslam Ready To Rock ! | |||||||

artist RJ Martine and his band Joyslam are ready to rock the Main Stage
at WORLDFEST on July 18th & 19th. Joyslam will be performing at 8 pm
both nights. Following a successful engagement, opening for Burton Cummings on Canada Day in Brampton, where they performed for more than 50,000 people, Joyslam is now bringing their unique brand of funk rock music to Toronto. Joyslam’s music has been compared to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sublime with a dash of Bob Marley thrown in for a great mix. Their first CD, entitled Heat Moon was recently released online through Trilogy Records, and is distributed by The Orchard. Public reaction to Joyslam’s CD has been very positive with requests from domestic and foreign radio stations coming in daily. RJ says, "We like to think of our music as world-music and what better place to perform it than WORLDFEST." |
